Who we are
This site is operated by Australian Technology Partners, a trading name of Australian Enterprise Services Pty Ltd, based in Melbourne, Australia. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you enter — typically your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number and message.
For security and to record your consent, our server also logs technical details with each submission, such as your IP address and the date and time. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this website.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss whether we can help, and (if you engage us) to deliver our services. We do not use it for automated marketing, and we will not add you to any list without your clear agreement.
How we store and protect it
Submissions are stored securely on our hosting infrastructure, in a location that is not publicly accessible from the web, with access limited to authorised personnel. We keep enquiry records only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and meet our legal and business obligations, and then delete them.
The ATP Letter (our mailing list)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use double opt-in: nothing is added to the list until you click the confirmation link we email you. We store your email address together with the date, time and IP address of your request and your confirmation — that record is our proof of your consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. When you unsubscribe, your email address is deleted from the list immediately; we keep a hashed (de-identified) record of the removal date together with the original consent timestamps, so we can demonstrate consent for emails sent while you were subscribed. The list is stored securely outside the public web space and is never shared with anyone.
Who we share it with
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We may disclose information only where required by law, or to trusted service providers (such as our hosting or email provider) strictly to operate this website, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Overseas storage
Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To do so, get in touch through the contact form on our website and we’ll action your request promptly.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first through our website so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the “last updated” date above.
